Rules and Regs

Eagles' Wings is a cooperative that functions as a committee under Clay-Platte Home Educators (CPHE) and is subject to its By Laws, Policy and Procedures and the CPHE board of directors. As such, Eagles’ Wings is open to homeschool students whose families are CPHE members. Becoming a member is easy. Click here for the forms or email the committee if you have any questions about becoming a member at eagleswings@cphecorp.org.

Eagles' Wings will run on Thursdays from 10:00 am–2:55 pm with a 55 minute lunch & play break.

Eagles' Wings classes will be canceled when the North Kansas City (NKC) school district closes for inclement weather. The committee reserves the right to cancel co-op for inclement weather or any other reason even if NKC schools don’t close. In the event that this happens every effort will be made to contact you by email and/or phone.

Eagles' Wings will assume that a parent from each family be the adults from the families participating at Eagles' Wings unless otherwise approved by the EW committee on a case by case and semester by semester basis.

Before enrolling, first time families are required to meet with a committee member. Please email eagleswings@cphecorp.org to arrange this meeting.

Visitor requests will be evaluated on a case by case basis, but generally speaking, no minor visitors will be allowed.
